Our Academy Day includes 32.5 hours in a typical week and just over 33 hours in Year 11.

• Ends 15:10 pm

The Academy day is split into 5 one-hour long lessons as outlined above. Due to the fact that registration starts the day at 8:40am, it is important that learners arrive at the Academy on time.

UPGRADE & Exams
Year 11 Upgrade currently runs every Tuesday (English), Wednesday (Maths) and Thursday (Science) from 15:10 until 16:10. After Easter each year, Year 11 move to early lunch to prepare them for exam season. This means Year 7 and Year 11 have lunch between 12:30 until 13:10 and Year 8, 9 and 10 have their lunch between 13:30 and 14:10. This is a temporary change taking place annually between Easter and the end of GCSE exams.
