Information regarding the COVID vaccination programme for 12-15 year olds

As you may be aware, the Government is offering all young people aged 12 to 15 the Covid-19 vaccination.

At St James Academy, we are facilitating the roll-out of the vaccination programme and we will be contacting all parents/carers whose child is eligible to receive the vaccine with more details in due course. Please note that our academy is only providing the space and logistics for learners to be vaccinated; our staff are not responsible for the delivery of the vaccine or are involved in decisions over whether children receive the vaccine.

If you require further information to inform your decision on giving consent for your child to receive the vaccination, please seek further advice from your GP.
