New school uniforms – important message for all parent/carers
Dudley Academies Trust has recently taken the decision to change the name and identity of each of its four schools so that from the start of the new academic year 2018/19 the schools will be named:
- High Arcal changing to Beacon Hill Academy
- Holly Hall y changing to Pegasus Academy
- Hillcrest changing to The Link
- Castle High changing to St James Academy
The change of name will be reflected in the school uniform for the 2018/19 academic year. So that we can ensure all learners from all year groups have the appropriate uniform, Dudley Academies Trust has entered into an agreement with A.Oakes Ltd school uniform supplier, based at 30 Churchill Shopping Centre, Dudley, DY2 7BL to provide every learner FREE of CHARGE with a school blazer and tie. Every existing learner and every new learner due to join one of our DAT schools will have now received a voucher entitling them to this free offer.
Important uniform update
Please note the deadline to collect blazers from A Oakes Ltd, Dudley is Saturday 15th September 2018. All learners must be wearing their blazers onsite from Monday 17th September 2018 as part of our Values Driven Expectations behaviour model.
If you have misplaced your uniform voucher or require a new one, please proceed to the store, as they will have your child’s details to hand. You will not need a replacement voucher.
Any parent/carer who has paid for their blazer, please proceed to the store to get a refund.
Please note ties will be distributed to all learners free of charge on their first day of school.
Thank you for your patience during the summer period.
As you will appreciate this offer represents a considerable investment by Dudley Academies Trust as the wearing of appropriate uniform is a key part of our behaviour policy.
